Hey Café! Clubhouse
Coming to El Centro, California in 2024!
Hey Café! Clubhouse is a space designed for, as well as shaped and driven by, teens and young adults ages 14 to 25. Our clubhouse provides a relaxing and safe space, with a laid-back vibe, where we offer you tools, mentoring and encouragement, and you can do the same for other Hey Café! Clubhouse participants when you are ready to do so!
A few of our key offerings include:
- Life Skills Training:
- Communication, wellness, conflict resolution, finances, and more.
- Mentoring:
- We mentor you and show you how to become one too!
- Tutoring:
- Onsite tutoring. Space for homework/studying.
- Employment Support:
- Resume writing, skill building, interviews, internships, and job coaching.
- Wellness Resources:
- Yes, we have a resource board. Visits and presentations by various groups and organizations. Peer Support.
- Recreation:
- These will depend on the preferences of our participants but may include music, movie nights, games, tools, outings, snacks, and more.
Who can join? Everybody ages 14-25, living with stress, mental health conditions, or challenging life experience is welcome to join!
Our team includes Albert Zambrano, Program Manager, soon to be joined by our Generalists and Peer Support Specialist.
