Family to Family Virtual 06/04-06/27
Description:
This free program for Adults (18 and older) is comprised of a series of eight (8) classes for the families of persons with serious and persistent brain disorders (mental illnesses). These classes represent a new concept and curriculum. Teachers are family members themselves who have a loved one living with mental illness. The course has been designed and written by an experienced family member-mental health professional. The Family-to-Family course balances education and skill-training with self-care, emotional support and empowerment.
These classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 PM- 8:30 PM. The class dates are: June 4, June 6, June 11, June 13, June 18, June 20, June 25, June 27
Family-to-Family classes are offered virtually using the Zoom platform. Audio and Camera are necessary for this Family-to-Family class.
After registering on the NAMI event page, you will receive a confirmation email. Then an email from f2f@namisd.org regarding the Zoom virtual confirmation and Zoom JOIN link once the class is full.
