This free program for Adults (18 and older) is comprised of a series of eight (8) classes for the families of persons with serious and persistent brain disorders (mental illnesses). These classes represent a new concept and curriculum. Teachers are family members themselves who have a loved one living with mental illness. The course has been designed and written by an experienced family member-mental health professional. The Family-to-Family course balances education and skill-training with self-care, emotional support and empowerment.
This class will be held on Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Class dates are: May 9, May 16, May 23, May 30, June 6, June 13, June 20, June 27.
