This free program for Adults (18 and older) is comprised of a series of eight (8) classes for the families of persons with serious and persistent brain disorders (mental illnesses). These classes represent a new concept and curriculum. Teachers are family members themselves who have a loved one living with mental illness. The course has been designed and written by an experienced family member-mental health professional. The Family-to-Family course balances education and skill-training with self-care, emotional support and empowerment.
This class will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, class dates are February 17, February 19, February 24, February 26, March 3, March 5, March 10, March 12.
