NAMI Smarts: Telling Your Story Training (In-Person)

We’ll talk about why advocacy for mental health care is so important and the power of your story to influence others, especially policymakers. When you leave this workshop, our goal is that you take with you a version of your story that you can use to raise awareness, to inspire others and, above all, to influence policymakers to improve the lives of all people affected by mental health conditions. Everyone who attends our Telling Your Story Training and fills out the post evaluation form at the end of the training is eligible to receive a gift card honorarium up to $100. You can also share your story at one of our events to receive an additional gift card honorarium up to $100. You can only receive one honorarium by attending one of our trainings. Even if you attend two times, you are only eligible for one honorarium.
