NAMI San Diego Consumer Feedback Town Hall: Youth Substance Use Disorder in East County

The NAMI San Diego Consumer Feedback Town Hall is being held on September 26th, 2025 from 2:00 PM-3:30PM to gather public comment and feedback regarding Youth SUD in East San Diego County. McAlister East Teen Recovery Center will be in attendance as a subject matter expert. McAlister East Teen Recovery Center of El Cajon works with adolescence between the ages of 12 to 17 years old. Their outpatient drug and alcohol treatment and education includes assessment and referral, treatment groups, one-to-one counseling, intensive day treatment, drug testing, and recovery service. They have workshops on a variety of topics including life skills, health, recovery issues, employment preparation, HIV/AIDS, nutrition, and others.

This meeting will be held virtually on Zoom. The meeting link and the agenda will be sent in a follow-up email.
