This free program for Adults (18 and older) is comprised of a series of eight (8) classes for the families of persons with serious and persistent brain disorders (mental illnesses). These classes represent a new concept and curriculum. Teachers are family members themselves who have a loved one living with mental illness. The course has been designed and written by an experienced family member-mental health professional. The Family-to-Family course balances education and skill-training with self-care, emotional support and empowerment.
Please join us for an in-person class on Saturdays from 10:00 AM- 12:30 PM from November 1st to December 20th (class will be cancelled November 29th)- this in person class will be held in the Encanto neighborhood with exact address to be shared in October.
